Purpose: The profit in providing purpose to each community that we partner with is sharing and supporting growth in the community by hosting events such as cook offs to earn monies for those in need. We want to provide opportunities in ways that can better one’s quality of life for others.

History: Cook Off For Charity is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization as of 2023. Board members and volunteers host an annual event to help raise monies to assist other organizations in need. We want to make an impact. In 2023 we helped 5 organizations locally: Velva FFA, ELF Project, Community Youth Group, Velva Girls Fastpitch Softball Team and Dollars for Scholars. In 2024 we want to expand outside our communities and help deliver good works to those in need.

Future Planning & Goals: 2024 we will be hosting our 5th event. The recipients of monies raised at our cook off June 29, 2024 will be the Veterans Group in Velva, Prairie Grit, Velva Cheerleaders, Lutheran Youth Group (LYO), Velva Trap Team, Step Therapeutic Riding Program in Minot.

We hope to receive donations to make an impact on our community as well as others. Whether your organization is small, large, children, adults to veterans, we want to strive to be a large community of giving hearts and assist others. With your help and partnership, we can achieve this goal.
